Over the past couple of weeks the Rev Wright story has been making big news. Of course the media only shows a little 10 second clip and expanded the lifes work of a person completely out of context. I was even starting to believed them until I hear the Rev. Wright sermon start to finish. And all I have to say is WOW! Its incredibly amazing how your words can be twisted to mean something other than what was said. This is one of the most powerful and real sermons I've ever heard. He really makes you think!

Ya know....It truly amazes me how an entire media source can try and intentionally make this great man out to be a racist.

I also listened to the entire video clip,and i was educated about the "Chickens come home to roost" comment,i wasn't aware of who the original quote was from,then to try and make it stick to pastor wright was beyond disgusting,what's worse is that the media knowingly did this,without realizing that pastor wright was just re quoting something from the former ambassador to the middle east.

All the while doing this,the entire media failed to acknowledge his work that this great black man has done in the streets of chicago for all these years,working with those who were homeless,those who are HIV infected,and as far as i'm concerned,pastor wright should not have resigned from the church because of this coming out to the mass media,he should have stood his ground,and had his flock stand behind him in support,along with Barack Obama,Common,and the rest of the people that pastor wright has helped through all these years.

And before i shut down my rambling...Food for thought

A reverned,pastor,or what ever other name a great man in the church of god would be called, has not been a racist when you take into consideration that his flock in his church at Trinity United Christian Church is reportedly 96 or 98 percent white,and these members of pastor wrights flock respect this great man the same way common does,not because the color of pastor wrights skin, but because the sermons that he tries to bring to his members of his church are ones that try to educate his flock of the things that had happened in the past wether they were wrongs or rights done to people in the past( See Tuskegee Airmen Infected With Syphilis).

Not to mention that this great man was a MARINE!!!
