All Windsor Hip Hop... Please Read, Important.

Well, I got some of the skill's on the webdesign & I was thinking. We need something to represent us all, you know what Im saying. The artist's that are seriuosly doing thangs, or working their asses off up in here. Im willing to throw my skills down for free, to get Windsor's hip hop united. My idea is, one website, Windsorhiphop.com or something towards that effect.

The website will feature a link to this forum
An archive of Windsor artist profiles
An affiliates section featuring link's to everybody's websites
A Studio section with info on local studio's
etc...

I figured why not. The one thing Windsor's hip hop scene needs, and doesnt have, is unity. Everyone to worried about being better then each other, when alot more can be accomplished in this game if we workin together, feel me?

What up Sadist, I think your on the right track, collaberated mix c.d.'s we be good to back up a Windsor Hip-Hop site too..I had bought the 519.com and went group to group to see if they wanted to each contribute to a collab and everyone "said" they were down but nothing happened and I got rid of the site...too bad but, that was then...everyone's real agressive now?....good...we should work as a team for home court. i fell that 100% but dont put me out like that on blast.. i had this idea n mind for a min... if everyone get thier act together on this hip hop in windsor .. just maybe it might go somewhere... everyweek i ask i lot of guys to come by my show... if we all just come together and stop down plaing everone... we can make this city pop off

Attitude reflects leadership.
This is how it'll happen(i'm going to pull the crystal ball out now).
We'll all talk about putting something together. A number of cats will even meet to work things out. One of us will introduce a plan to make it happen. That will require real work, therefore some of us will fall off. Or better yet someone will get jealous that somebody took a leadership roll and then spit salt on the plan. Some cats will listen to them then bounce. A few of the core people will stick with it for a while. Then it'll get tough because parts of the plan will start to work which will require more discipline from the artists, producers and all other players. Attitudes and egos come into play. The focus will change from making our system work, to who is the boss(This happens everytime). After a year of trying make a well intentioned system work those that believed in it from the begining will start to come to the conclusion that they're getting older and need to make a real living. So, they'll fall off. This is probably where the tipping point will be. Because the person or people will be very important for comminication or whatever they do the backbone of the system will be gone or less effective. The contacts they make won't talk to anyone else, and no one knows who they talked to to get things popin. Nobody remaining in the crew listened in the meetings so they don't understand how to continue with the plan.

This is not the first time this proposal has been made. It's not first time someone came up with the idea of throwing a mixtape out there and hoping for the best. And it won't be the last. I just hope this...that one day those that come together to put these type of efforts together actually recognize that you need more than hardcore bad ass rappers, singers or djs to make it work. You need the talent behind the curtain, marketing, planning, scheduling, leadership, and most important, soldiers. That Listen Regardless of Circumstance. Any plan doesn't start with these components will not work.
You ever wonder why BadBoy, RocaFella, Death Row, Shady Records, DTP, Murder Inc.(Inc.) work where other hipHip labels just fall off.
They have the act behind the curtain together.
Get this part of the system together first or else your just waisting your time. It's all been done before so there's lots of research for you to use as an example. There are also those people among you that know. Talk to them and or get them to help you out.
