They took the Needle 914 show off of the air?
Windsor#1 DJ for many years running. The only one to support Local Hip Hop for the passed 3 or 4 years. And there is no fight?
All of the Local(Detroit/Windsor) Hip hop artists should be down there at the studio ready to tear the studio DOWN. That's OUR outlet and our DJ, and your not going to fight?
There was one mistake made...by another artists. Mistakes happen. Let the man applogize and move on. Don't let any of our Hiphop Venues be taken away EVER. They're to tough to get in the first place.
I know one thing if you all had a CD coming out. You'd be at the Needle 914 show. If you had a show coming up, where would you be. Let me guess...UMM???
The Needle 914 show? That's right.
WHERE IS THE FIGHT?
There should have been an an out brawl when they moved the show to that f'd up time slot. But no. Now they go as far as cancelling the whole thing and everybody just sits there and takes it.
You guys claim to be Hip Hop? Hip Hop is about the struggle! About fighting for what's right and what is deserved. And what you enjoy now was achieved through fighting for our share. Don't you forget that. But you must also carry the banner. The batton has been passed to you guys. It's your turn to take it on the chin for standing up for what you believe in.
Make a paper or two for some positive controversy!
Where are the picket signs? What about the marches? What about a boycott. Send a letter to the music Director. Do something!
WOW...I can't believe you guys are just sitting there.... |
How long is the suspension for? Whether the suspension can be appealed or not, Windsor's hip hop community should let CJAM know how important Needle's show is.

Well,
I just got off the phone with Chris, the new head honcho cause Adam fox just started a job elsewhere
dude told me it's his first day in charge
i explained to him that i was speaking on behalf of all the windsor artists in reguards to needles show
and how that expands out to friends, family and fans as well
he told me it wasn't just for profanity that the show got suspended
it was for;
the profanity
guests acting unprofessionally on the mic
and needle not saying what artists performed as much as he should i guess
so
i asked if needle were to mention the artists who's trackx he plays more could the suspension be dropped
he said no but it could be reduced
to two weeks instead of a month
i said thats cool
and just wanted to give needle a heads up
n see what ya say

PLEASE EVERY ONE THAT YOU FOR THE SUPPORRT... ITS NOT CJAM YOU SHOULD BLAME .... BUT I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY DON'T LET THIS HOLD US BACK .... KEEP THIS HIP HOP THING GOING ON....
HERE MY LETTER THAT CJAM GAVE ME...
November 27, 2006
Dear NOT TELLING YOU MY BIRTH NAME,
On Wednesday November 22nd your program – “Needle 914 Show” – featured a variety of CJAM policy infractions. These infractions included guests and host using gratuitous obscenities on the air – e.g. “motherf***er” “titties”; gratuitous verbal diarrhea; no track recaps (including very little dialog about the music played on the program). Also unacceptable was the bragging on-air by the host who claimed he was “buzzing” more than once. These actions distinctly violate CJAM policy, and together demonstrate a wanton disrespect for CJAM and its listenership.
All volunteer privileges at CJAM FM are suspended indefinitely. After one month’s time you may arrange to speak with the Programming Director to discuss volunteer reinstatement.
Respectfully,
Adam Fox
Music Programming Director
CJAM FM 91.5
Don't worry i will be back bigger and better than ever.. I thank you all for havin my back.... |
