Canadian R&B Recording Artist Massari recently made a national stop over in Windsor, Ontario at Club Meow on Friday, July 29th for his official CD Release. The sold-out event put on by Windsor-based Company Canada Social was so successful that Massari has been asked to return to Windsor for an all ages concert on August 19th at Charles Clark Square. The August 19th concert with Massari is part of Canada Social Magazine's initiative to bring large National and International acts to Windsor, Ontario. With their province wide reach and music industry partnerships, along with affiliations with the Convention & Visitors Bureaus and Downtown Business Improvement Associations, they have proven their ability to bring National and International acts to the City of Windsor and effectively promote and advertise the event across the province effectively and efficiently to guarantee maximum exposure for the event, artist and the City of Windsor.


Windsor Social Magazine's growth over the past 2 years has been unprecedented not only in Windsor, but in Ontario as a whole. We started the organization in 2004 and have been able to expand outside of Windsor and across Ontario. Currently we have hubs in Windsor, London, and Toronto with forecasted growth this year to Ottawa and the Tri-Cities. We are working together with the City of Windsor, Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Downtown BIA to bring high quality events and shows to Windsor. With our network that spreads from Chicago to Ottawa, we are able to book, promote, market and host the cities largest and most successful events. As part of this initiative to bring the 'Win' back to 'Windsor' we are hosting Massari in concert at Charles Clark Square on Friday August 19th! Massari was a hit when we brought him to Windsor last month for his CD Release Tour and we are already beginning to see a high demand for tickets from concert goers all over Ontario and Michigan for this event." Massari (pronounced Ma-Sar-ee) - whose Arabic name literally translated means "money" - has taken the industry by surprise in Canada. Massari's self-titled debut released through MapleNationWide/Universal, debuted on the Top 40 SoundScan Chart at #29, and #6 on the R&B chart. The album sold out nationwide in its first couple days of release and has sold over 15,000 copies to date. Fuelling the albums success is Massaris first single Smile For Me, which spent 24 weeks on the Top 40 chart. The video, directed by Award-Winning video director RT!, was nominated for two 2005 MMVA nominations making Massari the only independent urban artist to receive nominations in multiple categories this year. His second single Be Easy has been in the Top 10 for six weeks and is currently #5 on the National BDS CHR/TOP 40 Chart and the video is currently at #6 on the MuchMusic Countdown.
