| I just got a little offended because I aint heard my name mentioned when the topic of "the only ones who got skillz was brought up." My bad I thought maybe you have heard of me and just was blatantly leavin me out. I just want my props but I apologize. There alot of talent here man, trust me and it just makes my blood boil when some of the greatest names are left out and you right, alot of them names are probally unknown to 90% of the people who visit this site but that still don't mean they don't exist. We the great unknowns, under-rated, and underdogz but just beacause you can't see somethin don't mean it don't exist. Respect dude- no beef. |

Honestly, it's all a matter of opinion up in here, and that's as far as it goes. I've been on this Windsor scene for 7 years, on the real. Switched up to Michigan and came back. In my opinion, Windsor is full of quality talented rappers with many great things to them, I'll give you some examples on the real.
Richy Nix, love him or hate him, the dude is origional, and that's what hip hop lack's most now a days.
Kayce Klossed, one of the most talented witht he lyrics in the city period.
Trilla, is probably the king of the freestlye in this city, and can also hold his own with ease on the written tip.
Bruce B & Raw Camp. Whether you like the way they are or not, or whether you believe in what they are saying or not, they have all the talent needed. They have the raw image, they have the lyrical talent, the flow, the voice's, and the drive that comes with it.
Unis. I've only heard this cat a few times, but each time I hear him, I become more impressed with what Im hearing. Dude definatly has a nice flow, and his voice works real well with his beats.
So-Liva, I seen dude live at the 4:20 show, and he killed it. Had the whole crowd rockin and chantin his name with em. Made a hell of a first Impression on me.
Mic Lordz, these dude's are straight up hip hop. KRS ONE would be proud, you feel me. These dude's also have the live show locked down on a major tip.
Simantix, I never really heard of until this thread and I decided to check him out, and dude's pretty smooth with it aswell.
Jordan Jone's, same as simantix. I was really diggin that shit aswell.
Kyle Spratt, the young dude that got play on the radio & got on tv. Everyone's getting on his case because of his voice, and the fact that he listen's to slim... The kid is 16 year's old, and needs time to grow. For a 16 year old kid, his shit is impressive for the simple fact that he goes into a real studio, gets it all mixed, and keeps going back.
The best thing about all these rappers above, is that they hustle hard for their music, and brush off blatant, unconstructive critic's and keep moving. They all also have top of the line quality in music. There are alot more that can be mentioned that I think are tight aswell, but that's what im posting.
As far as my shit goes, you can ask around. I aint here to brag about accomplishments or this and that because that shit really dont matter, but I've done & seen some shit, and performed in places people only wish to perform from around here.
Anyway's, since y'all getting your critic on, feel free to hate, love, diss, compliment, or just straight up bash my music, cuz I could give a f***, know what im sayin?
Here is a link to a radio player on my site, that's got 25 song's from free mixtape's, collaborations, scrapped audio from albums, single's, and so on.
http://www.jrenohiphop.com/radio.blog
The official site rest's at http://www.Jrenohiphop.com
And that's my opinion, straight up.
The problem with this city is that, all the fans, arent just fans... They take it into their own hands to be critic's. Like y'all some A&R's or something. If you dont feel something, you dont feel it. There aint no need to bash it. Straight up. If you dont like it, dont listen, thats the only way to put it. If you want the local scene to be popping, instead of insulting somebody's shit, why not give them something constructive to work off? If you aint feelin the flow, say that. "Yo, you need to work on your flow", aint no need to come out and be like "Yo, your flow is f***in trash, quit rapping".
A muf***a's still broke, but that's my 2 cents.
Hate it or Love it. _________________ http://www.JrenoHipHop.com |
