Windsor Rappers:Please Step Your Game Up

Yeah, there was a lot of activity on the site, but more importantly everybody talked about the situation. Now, i don't know who was right or wrong but i do know this, some people today are too thin skinned to hear the truth. As hard as it may be to hear. Hip Hop is supposed to be a verbal vehicle of the street. Whether your talking of the good times or bad. Keep it real right? Today everyone is making up S**t because they think it'll sell a record. When no body believes the story, and no sales take place who gets upset? The writer/rapper. Then what? Now he/she's got to go out and make a story. Now you've got collateral.
Being in the business on the executive side you get to hear a lot of material. Some good, but a lot of garbage. But the one thing that is pretty consistant is that most artists are afraid to be artists. Afraid to put their truth on record. They have to over come all that.
Wonder why Biggie, Pac, Jay-Z, and Eminem were so successful, because they put their life experiences out there. And because the artist actually experienced or knew people that experienced what they were rapping about it made the writing more believable. Therefore we loved them for it.
If this forum being an open dialogue causes someones feathers to get ruffled, so be it. But if it gets to the truth and those of us that love hip hop get better material...it's worth it.

Rappers are probably the most sensitive of all artists. If someone offers constructive criticism its "hating". If the truth hurts, take it as a reason to improve yourself.

True, the Windsor hip hop scene is wack, from what I've heard.

This Richy Nix dude is straight up wack. He uses the exact same flow as Eminem, and he sings on choruses.. WTF IS THAT (not hip hop)? And I don't say he sounds like Eminem cause he's white, but because he sounds like Eminem! He uses the exact same flow as Em do.

And Mic Lordz, they are iight at best. I mean, it's sad, but so far they are the best out of Windsor I've heard. And to be honest, they aren't anything special. If Windsor emcees weren't so garbage, I'd call them wack. But since they from Windsor, I'm being nice..

And I ain't here to start beef, or to tell you to quit like the thread starter. Just study hip hop more, and learn how to spit. That's all I can say... Don't try and copy other dudes style, don't change your voice, don't rap about shit you don't do in real life, like tot guns. Just find a gimmik, or something that hasn't been done before and rap about it. Be yourself, and learn the basics of how to write rhymes... Seriously, cause lyrically all y'all ARE WACK.

Like I said, I'm just stating my opinion, no beef with anyone. I'm just being real. Windsor probably has a lot of talent hip hop wise, but right now I don't see it.
