From Eurmail.com
NYPD SPIED ON RAPPERS BEFORE 2004 GOP CONVENTION:
Diddy, Jay-Z and even Alicia Keys were put under secret surveillance.
It was discovered Wednesday that the New York Police Department placed
a number of African American recording artists under surveillance in the
months before the 2004 Republican National Convention, which was held in
New York.
According to the documents, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z, LL Cool J and
Alicia Keys were all monitored by police in the months before the 2004
RNC. All four of the artists had attended a rally held by Russell
Simmons' Hip-Hop Summit Action Network in Aug 2004, which raised
political and voter awareness among urban youth.
This information was among some 600 pages of secret files released
Wednesday by the New York Civil Liberties Union, who is suing the city
on behalf of demonstrators who were arrested, reports Allhiphop.com.
"These documents paint a picture of a surveillance program that
was broad, clumsy, and often unlawful," said Donna Lieberman, NYCLU
Executive Director. "The NYPD failed to differentiate between unlawful
behavior and behavior that is not only lawful but should in fact be
cherished and protected. Today the public can finally bear witness to
that failure."
New York authorities reportedly tried to block the documents from
going public, but a judge ruled in favor of the NYCLU on May 4. |

Dude, be patient! It has to start effecting white people. Once that happens all wrongs will be righted.
Trust me!!! "Read my lips, I'm a uniter not a divider".
Damn it, I thought you knew that by now?
Oh yeah! Lets not forget, "If your not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about".

Obviously I was just kidding earlier.
Right now the only thing that will change it will be for some prominent Republican to realize they are being tracked, or somebody that is big time with power like a Donald Trump, Oprah, or Jeffy Figer to be watched. You know they'll make a big deal about it. OR and ID Thief uses their name and they get caught up.
People in Hip hop won't get a fare shake today because of the image they represent. Criminal enterprise. Whether it's true or not it's the impression that matters, so when the gov'nt watches them or anyone related to that industry, society is like well, they 'may' be up to something(which is typical). So they don't make a fuss.
It's guilt by association. That's why all rappers are all gangsters or thieves to the mainstream. Which is also why you have to mind you P's and Q's. Don't get caught up.
So, while republic'n society goes along thinking all is ok and the misguided and fragmented Democrats continue to focus on things that don't really keep America true to it's core values, the republican gov'nt will continue to unravel all of your rights!
The Question is, what are YOU going to do about it? _________________ CEO Embassy Entertainment Group Inc |

I for one, made numerous phone calls to alot of cats to see if they would be interested in coming to windsor to attend a press conference with jerome almon to show unity in this situation, and to some how show the canadian government that the hiphop community will not tolerate these kinds of actions, but for some reason, alot of these cats felt intimidated by the thought of being in windsor and being seen in the same press conference with jerome would get them on the "Black List" by this klan run government.
My next question is this....Why is it the canadian government won't allow the majority of hiphop artists to play in canada....unless that obtain a temporary resident's permit???
Never mind the fact that these artists have had all of the correct paper work filled out and approved by the government before they even hit the canadian border!!!
Jerome talked about how the government offered him bags of loot and a temporary resident's permit if he talked shit about all the artists that the government gave him a list of.
The reason that i'm asking this is because now alot more names are coming out of the wood work saying that the canadian government's doing the exact same thing to them as well |

One of the reasons people aren't participating may be because they are uninformed of the issues as you present them. And because not many people seem to be interested in speaking out about there experience the awareness level is low.
I suggest post what you know and bring folks here to discuss what they know , that way awareness can grow into a movement. _________________ CEO Embassy Entertainment Group Inc |
