| With respect, this Wantling guy is merely stating that if the science behind hiv/aids is bad, then those who want to bring back the noose for Carl Leone are making a big mistake. I do not know anything about the sexual side of this case, so that is not an issue concerning my last posting, but if the science is bad, then this turns the whole case upside down and inside out. Most people who post on this issue take it for granted that the science is good, but I have sent links to those who pose serious questions to this, and so those who are interested in reaching the truth and the justice, can delve into that in depth as opposed to voicing opinions based on ignorance, deeply entrenched beliefs and dogma. If it was your neck in the noose, I think that you would like to get to the truth of the matter, and if there has been an injustice, then to have that put to right. I am not defending Carl Leone, but I am saying that before you hang him from the nearest tree, to make sure that your facts are right. In my humble opinion, and I have followed this issue for years and years, the science is dreadfully flawed. But do not believe what I say, just do your homework, question everything, and think for yourself, as opposed to taking so much for granted. John Wantling, Rochdale, UK |

| Well when you take science out of the equation, what you're left with is the simple fact that carl leone infected these ladies knowingly, especially after he found out that he had this disease,he continued to infect young ladies with no regard to their life. |

With respect, you do not understand what I am saying. When I say, take the science out of the case, I mean to take out the idea of hiv infection, and that hiv equals aids. Carl Leone tested positive in a so-called hiv test, but as I have already stated, this is a test for antibodies of an unspecific nature. When the body produces antibodies, then this is a sign that it is doing what mother nature intended it to do. This is good news, as if we did not produce antibodies, the body would not survive. Moreover, antibodies are a clear indication that the body has dealt with or protected itself from a pathogen or a virus. If this is correct, and if it is bad science, or if we misinterpret this test, which is more likely, then we must not assume that Carl Leone infected anyone. The hiv test is a test for antibodies and so it is not beyond the imagination that a percentage of ordinary people would test positive for a number of reasons. For example, if every one of us were tested repeatedly on a number of occasions, then we might all succumb to a positive diagnosis, especially if we suffer from various medical conditions - we have flu, we have been vaccinated, we are taking prescription or recreational drugs, we suffer from malnutrition or poverty, or we are pregnant ad nauseam. What I am saying is a hiv positive diagnosis may not be bad, may not be in any way related to problems with immunity, and may not translate into disease. This is what some aids dissidents think, and so if we take away the science of infection, then all we are left with is the sexual side of the case which is a complete different matter. If this is true, then this brings hope and good news to anyone tested hiv positive, simply because medical science may have made a terrible mistake. But you see, we have been so conditioned with hiv/aids that we cannot see any further than this, unless, of course, we approach this issue with an open and enquiring mind and if we take a very close look at these tests, and what the aids dissidents have been saying for the last twenty years or more.
