Well here we go, the turnout was unreal, we topped out just over 150 people this week but some dickhead who was not allowed into the bar earlier because he was picking fights and acting like an asshole before the bar even opening came and threw a big cement chunk through the front window, causing the bar owner to let us know immediately that this will be the last night the "Pass Tha Mic" will go down. Now, all i can say is how disappointed we (MicLordz) are, that one clown had to spoil a great opportunity for everyone to showcase their hiphop abilities. We'd like to thank everyone who ever performed, came out to support, helped in anyway whether it was promotion or just inspiring words of wisdom.

What i'd like to do now is let people know how great of an opportunity we just let slip through our hands. Last night I as well as a few others FELT IT. When we saw the hiphop heads and crowds turning up in the numbers they did we knew this was going to be something special for a long time (as long as the bar and everything surrounding it was respected). Of coarse that wasn't the case. We were given a month from the beginning to get this night off the ground and the owner said if he saw potential we would move forward and make it a regular every wednesday thing (most didn't know we were given such a short deadline). Now you know. I never thought it would get that big that fast. We tried everything in our power to make this night work and we would've never thought the night would be cancelled because of it being too crazy, and people acting too damn childish and immature. I know we aren't the only ones who are going to be pissed off for awhile about this. Artists and groups such as Street Justice, So Liva, Lyrical Bliss, Icchi, Academy as well as many others who usually made it a point to come out and support to help this venue grow were pretty much slapped in the face last night for their efforts. It's unbelievable, my man from windsor social made it a point to come out every week and take pics, had said to us LAST NIGHT, that this is unreal how quick we turned this night into THE HOT SPOT. People were coming from Outlette last night because the ZEBRA ROOM was the only bar JUMPIN downtown. Can you imagine that. A bar playing strictly hiphop, and showcasing local unknown talent drawing people in. If there is one good thing that came from this, it's us artists should not give up. If somethings done right people are going to come.

What a promotion spot for shows this would've been, just an awesome outlet. We prided ourselves to make the artists sound great on the mics, you may not know but when you were performing we constantly tweeked the levels matching the beats and vocals to sound the best because we know as artists, good sound is half the battle. One month, we could only make it one month before all of it is ruined, it's a sad day for windsor hip hop, feel free to post comments, thanks for all your efforts, see you around, peace.

Well Spoken Aller G, of course there has to be one fool to f***in ruin shit. Pisses me off. All that time and effort you guys put into this and now it's done right when it started poppin off. Makes me f***in sick. I guess all we can do now is look for another outlet. You know I'm down to help out and support so holler at me about settin up shop somewhere else. You guys did a great job wit that in a small time span. Thanx for pumpin that and I enjoyed it while it lasted.

I'm just as pissed as ya'll is. We had our open mic cancelled not because of some bullshit, the owner just said "f*** it" one day, and didn't show up. didn't pay any of his bills and closed up shop on us. f***in' bullshit. I can't believe some dumb asshole has ruined you guys' night as well. Well, I guess I can say "our night" including all those local hip hop heads who were getting a brief glimpse of exposure...So-Liva, Icchi, SmartAlick, G-Style, Jay Hussle, and all the other cats who performed there. I saw real potential in that spot. I think in the long run, the owner will see that you guys had a good thing coming. He may want to start it back. Hopefully. we about to get some more shit out this way, too. so hopefully we'll all be back in full swing.

god man what bullshit......thats too bad homie.....if it was poppin like u say redd miht be right and he might see the cost effectiveness in lettin u keep the spot again....it just sucks tho but thats the game and the devil for ya....right when it was getin good...but this is the test.....what do u do now....u facin adversity...do u slump ova?.....hope to c u rise above it and come out on top in the name of windsor hip hop.....its alot of people that hope u do....stay up Cool
