Ask your self, where were you on January 3rd 2008?
Me...I was in front of the television watching the iowa caucases,and for the first time in history,a black man was the elected the winner for the democaratic party over the republicans.
This was a night i will never forget,as a black man, this gives me hope that a black man can run 1600 pennsylvania avenue in the 21st century. |

You mean to tell me there is a new "Powers that Be" on the horizon?
"Always" have confidence my brother, times change.
You have to pay attention to the rest of the story from this point forward. Barak is a master of communication, but his true test is going to come from the republican attack machine. Will America stand by, or is this really the time for change? The story is unfolding before your eyes.
Please, don't miss a thing!
"Talk about timing." Do you want to get popular really quickly? Write a strong and positive hip hop track about Barak Obama and the message of hope. He attracts a young audience of college and University student all across the US. Timing couldn't be better. Plus Hip Hop is looking for something positive for a change.
Just don't become a "side show" if you do it!

| I'm always putting pen to paper shawn,and i try to write lyrics that are more story lined from both sides of the fence,thought provoking lyrics,then positive. |

No but I was born on January 3rd, 1990. I wish my date was 2008. At least I hope that things will change in the future. |
