Richy Nix is inches away of doing some ground breaking things in the music industry, and i dont mean his hometown. I mean the WORLD!
When 1st signing quarter comes around (jan 0 be ready.
keep doing your thing Richy, dont get caught up in your local scene. Stay focused and ill be seeing you back here in NY very soon.

I love RichyNix's music as the next guy and pumping up egos are great an all. But, changing the world's music industry?
According to Billboard Magazine there are about 30,000 albums released each year. I assume the US alone. Go on www.cdbaby.com and you can see like 50 albums each day.
The world no, but I will say and can even fight that he has heavly influenced Rap. And so far to my knowledge open the genre of Emo Rap. Thus being the king of that Genre since end of time. Soo 100 years down the road, when emo rap is being played and they're transforming me to a cyborg. I'll know where it started. |

There's so much negative energy in this thread. Stop wasting time focussing on the wrong areas. All you cats who deserve your props get them from our side. Just saw Academys released party for December 14th, good luck with that. We're going to try to make it out to that. Also, props to Nix bringing a new fanbase to this site. Nix has got a serious myspace hustle and has for awhile, don't think i haven't noticed. Raw Camp has always been a force and I was happy to pay for a copy of their album at their release party at Silvers awhile back. I've always enjoyed watching Canada Souths progress, stemming from Dat Boi's hard work and determination. I hope his artists recognize that as well. One thing i read that offstruck me during this thread was someone made it sound (at least to me) that having alternative fans didn't seem as respectable. I may have taken it the wrong way, if so, my bad. Oh, and finally props to Soliva and Choc Tye on grinding their album as well. I've seen yall catch alot of love and hate on different boards, but the point is people are talking so well done. This will most likely be the last I speak on this topic. Keep grindin Windsor,

Man...theres NOTHING WRONG with having alternative fans..I consider the MICLORDZ HIPHOP.....Flat out....Now when these alternative fans start hating on HIP-HOP saying songs have TOO MUCH rap in them..thats when it is a problem.....
And Mr..Walker... IF YOU DON'T HAVE RESPECT FROM YOUR LOCAL SCENE IT AFFECTS YOUR CREDITABILITY...IN HIP-HOP AND ESPECIALLY BEING WHITE DOING URBAN MUSIC....I would think a MAJOR music rep would KNOW THAT......Eminem DID...Paul Wall DID..Bubba Sparks DID....ChronoBlack was right on point also!!!
I'm not hating on NOBODY and I want to SEE EVERYBODY SUCCESSFUL.... Yall NEED TO REQUEST SO-LIVAS VIDEO "HEAVY" ON MUCH MUSIC!!! ...But anyway if y'all gonna down other acts WITHOUT LISTENING TO THEIR MUSIC..WHY SHOULD WE RESPECT ANY OF YA'LLS OPINIONS?
ACADEMY..."LOYALTY IS LIMITED" in stores early DECEMBER....featuring RAWCAMP, DJ TRIXX, MOKA ONLY, LP from CANADA SOUTH...
Black Pentagram..batches...I REP THE STAR. |

Kayce. before u talk down on Jordan. Look at where u stand and look at where he stands... . . . . . . ya ok.
50cent was hated on the most in his own city. he has said SEVERAL times. but thats not the point. he simply said "dont get caught up" pretty much with the drama. He tells me on the phone to stay focused on the music. thas wats important.
I cant beleive i asked a major A&R rep to post something for me and to maybe check out what windsor is about. .. I didnt think he would post. But he did. and he must of read the bullshit on this thread, and just gave me some props/encouragement.
I regret bringing the windsor scene to his attention or atleast to yours.
and as for the drunken kid. I myself am a producer. i produce from rock to rap. from crunk to gangsta beats. to straight hiphop. even techno.
so there are other producers in windsor. Every song im on. i produced.
Props to u tho. there arent too many of us. keep doin ur thing bro. i support that. Major Artist are always lookin for beats. 50's new album was 80% produced by "non-celeb" producers. just dudes like myself bangin beats out the basement or wutever....
everybody stay up...
ill say it again Academy good luck with the album. |

Lets see...where do I stand? I've been following HIP-HOP since the late 80's...I got to build with artists like Grandmaster Caz, Mixmaster ICE from the legendary crew UTFO, Kurtis Blow, Donald D, Whipper Whip..those are old school hip-hop then..lets see...I've chilled with Layzie Bone, Scarface, Tha Luniz, TUPAC (told me to keep spitting..the realist dude I met), MC Breed, Pace Wunn, Young Zee, Choclair, T. Green (bass player for DEATH ROW RECORDS) shout out to Cash Dough he know who I'm talking about, Prince Paul, and Rico Wade from Organized Noise, My bestfriend's sister was in the award winning gospel group WITNESS,..uhh Legendary Detroit MCS I came up with are.. BFlat, Proof(RIP), Bugz(RIP),LaPeace(battled on the White rapper show),Mo Dirdee(SIGNED TO IRONFIST RECORDS), Motski from Detroits Most Wanted, KStone(aka Dogmatic),Elzhi, Big Tone, Lacks, Almighty Dreadknights, Miz Korona(back when she was Pimphette), Wendy Day(not a rapper just the creator of the RAP COLOATION..helped CasMoney get here deal with Universal) Fuzz Scoota shall I go on...And before you say why arent you on like so and so.. I STOPPED RAPPING FOR AWHILE then started again when MY daughters mother said I should keep rapping.. And uhh..who told you a A&R KNOWS WHATS HOT? Jay-Z got turned down so much that he had to put his shit out his SELF!! Now Look at him...THE MAN..OVERCHARGING'EM FOR WHAT THEY DID TO THE COLDCRUSH BROTHERS!! I research the music industry charts and trends..man.. I could BE a A&R EASY.
Now I don't doubt that your trying to help the Hip-hop scene here but instead of having dude come post on a thread where all your "fans" are big upping YOU and downing everybody else. How about asking dude to check out the other artists music because last i checked you arent the only one doing BIG things...Some of us got more stuff going on than you know..For real..And thanks for the positivity towards the album...regardless to what you may think it is appreciated... |
