Over 20 Authors Scheduled to Greet and Sign Books for Readers in Metro Area During Multi Author Book Signing at Marriott Hotel Southfield.

Authors scheduled to take part in the book signing are Beverly Jenkins, Vickie Stringer (Triple Crown Publications), Reshonda Tate Billingsley, Joylynn Jossel (Triple Crown & Over the Rainbow Productions), Phyllis R. Dixon, Nea Anna Simone, Janaya Black (Recording Artist & Film Producer), Dr. Maxine Thompson, Kevin Wayne Johnson, Vincent Alexandria, Tanya Bates, Nathasha Brooks Harris, Jesus Ibarra, Crystal Perkins Stell, Dr. Scott Whitaker (MediSin), Elreta Dodds, Evelyn Rhodes, Denise Smith, Sylvia McClain, Darryl McCullough, Nilah Daniels, Kimberley Brooks and more. The newest publisher in urban and hip hop literature, Dynasty Publications, will also be in attendance to accept manuscripts and offer encouragement to hopefuls who wish to become literary entrepreneurs.

The authors will be here to recognize the achievements of peers in the self publishing industry and to take part in the workshops being presented over the course of the weekend. They will be joined by poets, playwrights, film producers, editors, an agent, two publishers and aspiring writers. This is the first awards ceremony of its kind to be held in the Metro Detroit area and the conference has what it takes to be one of the leading and more beneficial literary organizations in the state of Michigan.

Authors have donated copies of their books and other promotional materials to be given away as gifts to encourage reading and writing. One registered attendee will win a trip on the 2006 Summit at Sea Book Club Cruise and another will win an all expense paid trip for MDLC’s 2006 conference.
